Business description

Trek from Valsavarenche to the Orco Valley, with a guide from the Gran Paradiso National Park, along the stages of the "Giroparco" trail. The itinerary travels along the network of royal hunting roads, with nature and environmental education activities at the Park visitor centres; you are sure to have some close encounters with the wildlife (such as ibex, chamois, marmots, eagles and bearded vultures).

Day 1

Rifugio Muzio mountain hut, Nivolet Pass, Rifugio Muzio: the route goes along the Chabod trail up to the Nivolet Pass. Return from the pass is via the Losere lakes, where you take the fork for the Colle della Terra up to Alpe Comba. Videsott Trail and return to the mountain hut.

Day 2

Rifugio Muzio, Colle della Porta Pass, Giraudo Bivouac, Ceresole Reale: a spectacular crossing that passes through all the most significant places on the left hydrographic slope of the Orco valley. At the end of the hike, visit to the Homo et Ibex Park centre. Dinner and accommodation at a hotel in Ceresole Reale.

Day 3

Ceresole Reale, Sià Pass, Gran Piano, Noasca: the crossing from Ceresole to Noasca for the Sià Pass and the Gran Piano hunting lodge is one of the most beautiful itineraries in the Orco valley. At the end of the hike, visit to the Forme del Paesaggio Park centre and the Environmental Education Centre in Noasca.
