E-bike taste tour
An e-bike circular tour immersed in nature
Discovering the flavours of the Alta Langa. A maze of paths, dirt tracks and paved roads without traffic along a part of the itinerary called GTL - Grande Traversata delle Langhe (Great Langhe Trail). The route is easy but best suited for mountain bikers with off-roading experience and some training.
Bossolasco - loc. Pavaglione - 32.6 km - elevation gain 1,250 m
Departure from Bossolasco towards Serravalle Langhe, Albaretto Torre up to Pavaglione, famous for events linked to the partisan struggle and the novels by Beppe Fenoglio.
The route is not particularly demanding and, if desired, can be extended by a few kilometres towards the end.
Località Pavaglione - Cravanzana 30 km - elevation gain 1,469 m
From Pavaglione we go down to Cortemilia and then continue along the ridge between the Bormida and Uzzone valleys. We cross the village of Bergolo and then, in the middle of the typical "terraced" ridges, we reach Torre Bormida where we will have a tasting of local wines. Finally we arrive in Cravanzana where a tasting of hazelnut products will be waiting for us.
Cravanzana - Bossolasco - 35.4 km - elevation gain 1,352 m
From Cravanzana we follow the ridge that divides the Bormida and Belbo valleys to continue to Feisoglio, Niella Belbo and San Benedetto Belbo. The town is famous because the writer Beppe Fenoglio set many of his novels there. We will be sure to taste the typical cheeses from a small local producer before continuing to Murazzano, Bonvicino and, lastly, Bossolasco, the tour's final stop.
