Business description

The itinerary is an opportunity to explore an area of unspoiled nature just a stone's throw from Torino, in three valleys rich in medieval history and the everyday stories of the shepherds and mountain folk who have inhabited them for centuries. The GO is registered in the regional hiking register by the Alpi Cozie Agency.

Day 1

Hike from Borgata Molè Coazze, 4.5 km with an elevation gain of 899 m. The wild and sometimes harsh environment will make you feel as if you are at much higher altitudes. The arrival point is the Rifugio CAI Balma mountain hut at 1,986 m. Half-board accommodation at the hut.

Day 2

9.16 km hike with an elevation gain of 756 m and an elevation loss of 707 m. Maximum altitude 2,635 m, arrival at the Rifugio Selleries mountain hut (2,035 m). Panoramic stage from Sangone Valley to Chisone Valley. Half-board accommodation at the mountain hut with a typical menu.

Day 3

6.71 km hike with an elevation gain of 534 m and an elevation loss of 858 m. Max altitude 2,569 m. You will be able to admire spectacular glacial till deposits. Arrival at the Rifugio Toesca mountain hut (1,711 m). Half-board accommodation with tasting of craft beers and mountain cheeses.

Day 4

13.13 km hike with an elevation gain of 655 m and an elevation loss of 949 m. This stage follows part of the Franchi trail The arrival point is the Rifugio Amprimo mountain hut (1,375 m). Half-board accommodation at the mountain hut with a typical menu.

Day 5

7.93 km hike with an elevation gain of 305 m and an elevation loss of 306 m. The trail goes through larch and beech woods. Cultural stop at the ancient Certosa di Montebenedetto (Montebenedetto Charterhouse). Tasting of typical local cheeses. Arrival at the Rifugio Geat Val Gravio mountain hut (1,376 m). Half-board accommodation at the mountain hut with a typical menu.

Day 6

14.53 km hike with an elevation gain of 707 m and an elevation loss of 1,004 m. The effort required for this challenging stage is more than repaid with the rock carvings by Marc Picapera, the characteristic villages and the talc mines encountered along the route. The arrival point is the Borgata Molè Coazze at 1,087 m.

Price:

€ 749.00 per person (min. 4 paying participants). For those wishing to carry out the trek independently, the cost is € 530.00 per person (min. 2 participants). The trek can be customised according to needs and on a private basis.

Suitable for individual sports hikers and groups in good health and able to tackle walks of more than 6 hours a day.
The programme can be modified according to the level and needs of the group. The itinerary can be customised on request.

Equipment required:

Ergonomic and comfortable 50-60 litre mountain backpack with cover.
Trekking boots, a waterproof windbreaker jacket with hood, micro-fleece and windproof fleece, technical microfibre T-shirts, trekking trousers, socks, sufficient underwear for 6 days, microfibre towel.
Sun hat or woollen hat, gloves, water bottle of at least 1 L capacity, sunglasses, sunscreen, lip salve, first aid kit, sleeping bag liner, headlamp, trekking poles.
Energy bars and dried fruit.
We will provide you with a detailed list before departure.
