Tour d'Ambin

da Exilles a Bardonecchia (57,10 km)
Highlights and tour details

The Tour d'Ambin is for users of high altitude hiking and mountaineering routes. The key points of historical and cultural interest are the "Perthus of Colombano Romean" tunnel in Grange Pertus of the Municipality of Exilles and the Pramand Tunnel, of military origin, which currently constitutes an obligatory passageway at the height of the Saracen Grottos, in the Municipality of Oulx (awaiting reopening after works). The cross-border itinerary winds between mountain passes and peaks of the Ambin Massif, site closely linked to the birth of Mountaineering
