The most beautiful corner of Pontegrande is, without a doubt, the locality of "PIODA", where on an enormous erratic boulder transported by the glaciers, situated on a sheer drop to the Anza river, stands the church dedicated to Saints Pietro and Paolo, built in 1670, surrounded by houses that fit well into the environment. From here you can enjoy a wonderful view of the east face of Monte Rosa.
