Points of interest
The itinerary starts from Ca 'San Sebastiano, to Castel San Pietro, in the direction of Cantavenna which is reached by crossing through the panorama of Monferrato; go towards Gabiano, where you go down to the hamlet of Piagera; from there turn left to Vallegiolitti, going up the valley to the hill which, after the descent, leads to Murisengo. From here follow the signs towards Villadeati, where we recommend taking a tour of the typical alleys. From there, through a winding road, you reach Odalengo Piccolo. Head towards Moncalvo, the smallest town in Italy, where you can take a refreshment stop by admiring the historic center. After a long climb, it goes back to Ponzano and towards the Santuario di Crea, declared World Heritage by Unesco; Here you can enjoy a visit to the Santuario but you can also enjoy the panorama of the Sacro Monte with its beautiful chapels. From here you descend (be careful on the very steep descent) and you arrive at Serralunga di Crea, you go back up to the village and then up towards Solonghello. From there up again to Camino, returning to the starting point.
