Piemontescape

Piemontescape is the new regional platform dedicated to outdoor tourism, created to offer Outdoor enthusiasts an overall vision of the different activities available in the territory of Piedmont.
The platform is currently composed by three sections - Experiences, Outdoor Activities and Territory - with numerous cycling-hiking routes, registered and officially recognised by the Regione Piemonte, and many activities in the mountains.

Bicycle tourism

Easy trails for families and for those who love authentic flavours, between villages and vineyards, rice fields and towns. Great climbs of the Giro d'Italia (Tour Italy, also known as the Giro) for racing bike enthusiasts and ups and downs in nature for mountain bikes. The two-wheels homeland is here: you are in Piedmont, the region that has made history of Italian cycling and the promised land of cyclotourits.

Hiking

Piedmont is crossed by a wide network of paths, cart and mule tracks leading to plains, alpine pastures and valleys, to a landscape of wild natural beauty. From the valleys around Cuneo to the Susa Valley and Lanzo Valleys, from the Sesia Valley to the Ossola Valleys, you can undertake many excursions on foot, by bike or on horseback, learning about traditions and typical flavours.

From the Maritime and Cozie Alps of the Cuneo area, against the unmistakable outline of Monviso, to the crests of the Cozie and Graie Alps in the Turin area, from the Pennine and Lepontine mountains in the Biellese, Verbano and Valsesia districts to the Alexandrian Apennines overlooking the Ligurian Sea: here nature displays all its diversity, with wide woodlands, peaks and mule tracks, paths and plateaus, mountain huts and mountain pastures, climbing routes and valleys dotted with rural villages on the ancient transit routes of travellers and pilgrims, merchants and smugglers.
